Hello, I’m Clare the founder of Clare Jones Paris and this how it all came about.

Originally from Wales I moved to Marseille to study when I was in my early twenties. That journey led me to Paris, where I began a career in marketing and communication.

It wasn’t until lockdown 2020 that I started drawing and making cards for my family in Wales. Keeping in touch with them this way gave me such a happy feeling and they were delighted to receive my surprise gifts through the post.

Two years later, I decided to leave my corporate job to study graphic design and illustration at école Estienne. I opened my studio working as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator in 2023. I launched my first collection of illustrated paper gifts, illustrated greeting cards and watercolour art prints the beginning of 2026.

My designs are inspired by the beauty I see in everyday life and the joyful moments I share with family and friends. I hope my collection will in turn bring joy to you and your loved ones.
