Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&C)

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made on https://www.clarejones.paris, operated by Clare Jones Paris.

By placing an order on this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. You also acknowledge your right of withdrawal in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

2. Products

We sell printed illustrations (art prints), greeting cards, stationery, and accordion books. All product descriptions, images, and colours are provided as accurately as possible. However, slight variations may occur due to printing processes and screen differences.

3. Orders

Once you place an order, you will receive a confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if:

  • A product is unavailable

  • There is an error in pricing or description

  • We suspect fraudulent activity

If this occurs, you will be refunded in full.

4. Pricing & payment

All prices are listed in euros and include/exclude taxes as indicated at checkout. We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time; however, products will be invoiced based on the prices in effect at the time the order is confirmed. The prices indicated include only order processing costs, but do not include shipping and delivery costs.

Payments are processed securely through third-party providers, including Apple Pay and card networks such as Visa. All payments are processed through the protective mode of payment SSL (Secure Socket Layer) so the information transmitted in encrypted by software and cannot be accessed by any third party when on the  network.

We do not store your payment details.

5. Shipping

We ship to the EU, UK, Switzerland, the USA, Canada and Australia.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on destination and postal services.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs or postal carriers.

6. Customs & import taxes (important for EU/US/UK sales)

Buyers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes that may apply in their country.

7. Returns, Refunds & Right of Withdrawal

Right of withdrawal (EU customers)

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, you must inform us clearly within 14 days of delivery by email at: clarejonesparis@gmail.com.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your request before the 14-day period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from your purchase, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs (if applicable), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision.

We will use the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you have provided proof of return shipment.

Return of goods

You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of withdrawal.

You are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated.

You are only liable for any diminished value of goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to Custom-made or personalised items (if applicable).

Damaged or incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 3 days of delivery with photographs. We will offer a replacement or refund where appropriate.

8. Intellectual property

All artwork, designs, and content on this website are the intellectual property of Clare Jones / Clare Jones Paris.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or resell any content without permission.

We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We only collect data necessary to:

  • Process orders

  • Communicate with customers

  • Operate the website

We do not sell personal data.

10. Website hosting & services

Our website is hosted by Squarespace, which provides the technical infrastructure required to operate the online store.

11. Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Delays outside our control (postal services, customs)

  • Improper use of products

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, and any disputes will be handled under applicable local jurisdiction.
